  • Canter Safari: A 20-seater open bus, ideal for larger groups and a more budget-friendly option. Canters offer a higher vantage point for spotting animals. 

2. Best time to visit and book

  • Best time for tiger sightings: October to April offers comfortable weather and increased tiger activity as they come out to bask in the sun.
  • Booking in advance: Book your safari at least 90 days in advance, particularly for popular zones like 1, 2, and 4, and during peak season (December and early January).
  • Monsoon season: Zones 6 to 10 are open during the monsoon (July-September), while Zones 1 to 5 are closed.

  • Safari Timing: Morning safari usually starts between 6:00 AM – 7:00 AM and ends between 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM. Evening safari begins between 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM and concludes between 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM.
